WARNING: Absolutely do not swim here after heavy rainfall, this waterfall has claimed many lives. Wappa Falls has a massive undercurrent and you can easily become trapped beneath the water. Please do not swim here after heavy rainfall, and stay away from the waterfall.
Wappa Falls is a picturesque waterfall with a natural swimming hole located downstream from the Wappa Dam. The waterfall has carved its way through the surrounding rock to make a unique swimming hole.
If you need toilet facilities, you can follow the walking track upstream to the Wappa Dam Day Use Area. There are also BBQ’s, shelters, picnic tables and a playground in the day use area.

From Yandina.
*Head south along the Old Bruce Highway.
*Turn right onto Wappa Dam Road.
*Turn right onto Pump Station Road.
*Wappa Falls and swimming hole are at the end of this road.

I’ve been going there for since I was a teenager now 49 ,I love to jump swim and relax 5 stars but it can be very dangerous , good idea to check below in swimming hole at base of ledge you can jump , sometimes rarely a log or bit of wood .ight washed in wet season but if there’s people there no need
