Mossman River

The Mossman River is a great place to cool down. The Foxton Avenue Reserve is where you will want to head to. This section of the Mossman River is shallow with a sandy bottom and crystal clear water. The river passes through lush rain forest and it’s a beautiful swimming location.

Warning: Crocodiles can be present in the Mossman River as it is connected to the ocean. As always use common sense in croc country and read all warning signs. Swimming here is at your own risk.

From Mossman.
*Head north along Foxton Avenue for 1.7km.
*Turn left into the Foxton Avenue Reserve and head down to the river.
