Freshwater Rockpool

Freshwater Rockpool is a 50 metre rectangular ocean pool in the suburb of Freshwater, 19km north of Sydney. It is open 24 hours except for cleaning, which usually takes place between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday afternoon. The rock pool can be accessed either from Freshwater Beach, or straight from the Lumsdaine Drive carpark down a flight of stairs. The pool has a magnificant view of Freshwater Beach and features 8 marked lanes which make is a great place for swimming laps.

Freshwater Rockpool is located on the northern end of Freshwater Beach and has two access points; one from the beach and the other is down a flight of stairs from the carpark on Lumsdaine Drive. The pool is 50-metres long with eight lanes marked on the bottom of the pool. This ocean pool is perfect for people who prefer swimming in a pool yet are still able to enjoy the stunning views of the adjacent beach and across the ocean towards North Head.
