Behana Gorge & Clamshell Falls is a hidden swimming hole and waterfall located a 3km walk up one of Cairns water supply access roads. Park at the end of Behana Gorge Road and walk the service road up to Clamshell Falls. This magical place is well off the tourist track, but very much worth a visit and a swim. The picture perfect waterfall and series of rapids and swimming holes are a great place to cool down after the hike along the service road to the gorge.
