Mona Vale Rock Pool

Mona Vale Rock Pool is an ocean pool located at the end of a sand spit near the northern part of Mona Vale Beach. There are actually two ocean pools: a larger one that is 30 meters long, and a smaller one that is ideal for children and those who are not confident swimmers. During high tide, these pools are surrounded by water, giving the impression of floating in the open ocean, without the sharks!

Behind the rock pools, Apex Park offers various facilities such as electric barbecues, picnic tables, public restrooms, bike paths, and a playground for kids. There are also shops and cafes located on Darley Street. Changing rooms and toilets are also available.

Please Note:
The rock pools may be closed approximately 3 hours before and 12 hours after the scheduled cleaning times, depending on sea conditions.
