Details
Marom Falls, also known as Marom Creek Falls, is a hidden waterfall with a large and inviting swimming hole at the base of the falls. It is located approximately 14km south-east of the town of Lismore in New South Wales. The falls and swimming hole are on private land, so please respect the owners property, and take all your rubbish with you. Please leave your dog at home too, this is an active cow paddock, so no dogs are permitted.
To access the falls, look for a small dirt pull-off area on the side of Dalwood Road, near the town of Rous. Park in the small pull-off area and follow the track down to the falls. The well-trodden track leads across an open paddock, and to the top the falls. The track to the falls is roughly 500m.
To get to the bottom of the falls and swimming hole, you have two options:
1. Climb down the rock face, or,
2. For safer access without climbing, continue following the path down a steep track to the bottom of the falls.
There are no facilities or toilets at Marom Falls, as it is located on private land. Please make sure you come prepared and clean up after yourself (and others) so that everyone can enjoy this beautiful swimming hole for generations to come.

About a 500m walk from the road, but well worth it. There’s a steep track to the base of the swimming hole, so watch out!
Marom Falls is a brilliant waterfall and swimming hole, and it’s important to preserve its beauty. Remember that the area is private property, not public land, and the property owners generously allow visitors to enjoy the falls for free. Please be considerate of the property owners and other visitors and avoiding littering. Treat the area with care and respect, as disrespecting the property through littering or vandalism could lead to its closure.
