Details
Howard Springs Nature Park features a small round swimming pool called the toddler pool, and also a series of man-made rock pools with a waterfall. It’s a nice place to have a splash on a hot day. It is more of a splash park than a swimming pool or swimming hole, but it is still possible to have a dip.
Unfortunately swimming is not allowed in the actual springs, or the dam which is fed by the springs. The dam is full of big barramundi and turtles which are nice to look at. There are BBQ’s, toilets, picnic areas and some nice short walks through the rain forest around the park, including a walk to the spring that feeds the dam.
