Currumbin Rock Pools is a family friendly swimming hole in the Currumbin Valley, located around 34km south of the Gold Coast. The water is fairly shallow and the slope is gentle, making it the perfect swimming hole for the whole family. There are also plenty of shallow rock pools and cascades along the creek which make for endless amounts of water fun. This is a great place to cool off and connect with the outdoors. Facilities include a picnic area, toilets, BBQ’s and a shelter.

Currumbin Rock Pools can get busy here during school holidays. If you’re looking for a slightly quieter, and even wilder swimming hole, try Cougals Cascades located a few more kilometres up the road in Springbrook National Park.

Drive to Currumbin Creek Road, Currumbin Valley
*Follow the road in a south-west direction (heading inland).
*It is located just past Bains Road.
*You can’t miss it, there is a picnic area, toilets, BBQ’s and a shelter.

Currumbin Rock Pools is a great kid friendly swimming hole located near the Gold Coast. It’s not too deep and there is plenty of shade. Recommended to visit if you need a break from the ocean.
