Trentham Falls

Trentham Falls, located near the town of Trentham, is a picturesque waterfall featuring exposed basalt from ancient volcanic lava flows.

Please Note: The swimming hole at the based of the falls has been closed due to too many injuries. The path to the base of the falls is also closed and there are warning signs in place.

Can you Swim at Trentham Falls?

No, swimming is not allowed at Trentham Falls. The falls can be viewed from a lookout only. The access track to the base of the falls is closed.

From Trentham.
* Head west out of town on High Street 550m
*Continue on Falls Road 1500m
*At the end of the road turn right onto Trentham Falls Road 700m
*Turn left onto Trentham Scenic Reserve Road 500m
