There is an excellent swimming area on the Kangaroo River just below the historic suspension bridge in Kangaroo Valley. There is a nice beach like area with river sand on one side of the river and a steep cliff face on the other side.

From Kangaroo Valley
*Head north west along Moss Vale Road for 1.5km
*You will come to the historic suspension bridge
*Turn right into the parking lot before the bridge
*Park and follow the footpath down to the river
