How to get to Fountain Springs (Redemption Rock)
To get to Fountain Springs from Mount Isa, take a scenic hour-long drive along the Barkly Highway, and be prepared for an off-road adventure with a four-wheel-drive vehicle. The total distance is 80.4 km.
- Head east out of Mount Isa along the Barkly Highway for 52.4 km
- Turn Right onto Mount Frosty Road and follow for 25 km
- Right onto Fountain Springs Road and follow for 4.5 km
