Clovelly Ocean Pool

The Geoff James Pool, also known as Clovelly Ocean Pool, is a stunning saltwater pool situated on the southern side of Clovelly Beach. This 25-meter-long and 6-meter-wide concrete rock pool features four marked lanes, making it ideal for swimming laps. Nestled next to the distinctive Clovelly Beach, which boasts large concrete promenades on either side, the pool offers a unique and picturesque setting for both swimming enthusiasts and beachgoers alike.

Water is pumped directly into the pool from the bay when conditions permit. At high tide waves wash over the sides of the pool and it becomes submerged. The Geoff James Pool is closed for cleaning weekly on Fridays, however, this may change depending on tidal and weather conditions. The best parking option is the Clovelly Beach car park situated on the southern side of the bay.
