Mahon Pool, also know as Mahon Rock Pool is situated to the north of Maroubra Beach, at the base of the Jack Vanny Reserve. The area features exposed rock formations and cliffs, making it a scenic location for an ocean pool. A set of stairs connects the pool to a nearby car park, and amenities such as toilets, showers, and change rooms are available on the cliff above the pool. It is free entry to the pool, and it is open 24 hours a day, except on cleaning days, which generally takes place on a Wednesday depending on ocean conditions.
